A long silence finally broke when Therony stepped into his sister's second cave, by then him and Acortesha swapped roles. His warrior sat on his shoulders and neck like a little child. Lil' Tesh, normally hyperactive like the bard usually was, remained stoic and not used the Guardian as a jungle gym. The Heart Exalted himself stood in his half form, claws jammed into the hastily crafted - pitch black pants he wore. "You can drop the facade now. No one here but those needed sister. None of us will hold it against you."

"Therony, must you be so sullen?" Mystic Moon lowered down slowly to let her healer down. Cela, instead of remaining with the dragons directly, went back to check on the larger silver's leg. "Don't you wish to see me and Star?"

"Of course I do...but you are free from your past. I can't simply ignore what everyone else here feels. This isn't easy for me you know..." Tesh patted his head in sympathy.

"We do know Guardian." Terran remained behind the siblings and the foreign warrior. "But this is the best place for you to start your journey."
"I'm already on one..." Muttered the multicolored dragon; his eyes didn't lift up from the ground. "But I get the gist of it." He turned toward the other Guardian. "...Would like to get this over with, so where do we start this time?"

Therony blinked, Terran's words didn't reach his ears. His attention was drawn back outside of the cave. The lay of the land was the same; ether rich soil, water and air. But something continued to tug at his being.
Therony? Therony! Tesh's inner voice felt like an electric shock. He recoiled back, nearly jostling off his warrior.

"Something doesn't feel right." He hurried past the Earth Exalted and out of the cave.

"What's wrong?" His younger sister spoke up, she stood side by side with Terran and the posted guards. The trio of female dragons easily caught his unease and distracted mindset. Where as electricity zapped him before, painful frost nipped at his heart. The bard couldn't pinpoint the source of the distress, just knew it existed on these grounds.

"It feels wrong."
Terran sent her consciousness throughout her chosen element. After a few minutes, she shook her tri-horned head. "I sense nothing amiss."

The bard tapped his clawed feet on the ground. "I'm telling you something is not right here. Mystic get back in the cave. Keep your guards with you too."
"We don't take orders from..."

"Do it." Ordered the chieftain,  cutting off the dual blue dragons. The warriors held their forked tongues and walked with the silver back inside. Her brother wouldn't say such a thing if he truly didn't feel trouble lurked.

"Tesh. I'll need Tesh right about now." The confusing statement was clear to the remaining silver dragoness. She hopped down from her lofty height and shapeshifted into her own half form. Her armor appeared almost instantly. If she did chose to ignore his emotions, she could not dismiss when her protective gear came to life.

"It feels like when he was around me..." Therony brought out his warhammer.
"Who?" Terran asked. She grew defensive herself. Her claws sank into the ground and unseen to the normal eye extended outward like roots.

"Obsid." He muttered.

"The Wyrm? Impossible... they aren't that brazen." The elder Guardian countered.
Something gleamed in the corners of Tesh's dual vision, it was a steady streak and when she followed its path, her right arm shoved her Guardian away.
Both Guardians felt the magic and traced it back to the source.

"Not brazen huh?" Therony growled. The enchanted armor held up from the magical impact but, it sent Tesh staggering back as if she was shot. Unharmed, she drew her attention back to their attackers.

The trio saw two walk toward them. Auraless.

"I will say this... it is not zombies." Tesh summoned Radiance out to complete her battle attire. The soul bound weapon erupted in the mixed fire of the destined duo.
"...Not a good time to read my mind." Therony quipped; he fixed the flute around his neck before gripping his hammer with both claws.

Terran wanted to tell them both to focus. However, the words were rendered naught. They in their own distinct way did just that...

The elder's claws rose out of the ground far in the distance, striking one of them. The friends charged the second individual, their steps crisscrossing as Therony's usual level of synchronization arose. Flaming Radiance slashed into the cloak surrounding this Wyrm.

If they are like Obsid, we have to watch ourselves... He relayed mentally to his friend Therony's weapon struck the individual but, the impact went silent. What he felt...
"Not solid at all." The bard hopped back and so did Tesh, she didn't like what she glimpsed from Therony's mind.

The cloak faded away, revealing a gelatinous being. It was similar to that of most shapeshifters of his world. But, he was certain this was one of the Wyrm as well...

One silver eye glanced over to the side and saw Terran and the other one clashing. In the matter of seconds, torn ground and burning embers turned a good portion of the lively land to a sliver of former glory. Therony's attention returned to their enemy. There was no real definite shape to the Wyrm, the closest either dragon could put it was actually humanoid.

How did it do the burst?

From what he could tell, there was no aura or no magical presence to it. Both of them paused, when any other time either Guardian or Warrior would be bent on destroying their enemy. Yet, they had no will to fight and seemingly the Wyrm did not as well. The only one who did was battling the elder Guardian in the distance.
One amorphous arm rose up, which drew them to defend themselves but instead of an attack it formed a hand that pointed behind the bard.

Look out Guardian!

His aura vision caught it with the warning but it was too late. A pulse of energy caught him directly in his neck. The taller half form fell backward and landed on the grass. Therony's whole body overloaded and systematically crashed, bringing him to unconsciousness.

Therony? Therony?

Both eyes open and caught a stone ceiling peering down at him. Therony rose slowly and saw Acortesha meeting his gaze on one side. Mystic Moon on the other and the Earth Exalted at the entrance.

The bard stood against the protests of the dragonesses and the healer with them. He was struck in the neck and instantly his claw darted to there, yet when he did a big problem surfaced.

Where is it?! His mouth opened but nothing came out.

They watched the panicked Guardian dart around. He did not worry about is lack of a voice.

WHERE IS IT!? His mind roared out. Not once did his claw leave his neck. He hurried outside, past the extended claws of Terran. They reconvened in the chieftain's cave. Therony hurried to where he remembered and frantically looked around.

Therony, calm down. The inner voice was from his sister, she, reaching adulthood before the oldest sibling. What's wrong!?

He moved as if he did not hear her. It had to be here, but after an exhaustive search with both eye and aura vision, it felt like his heart was ripped out from him.
Acortesha hurried out and found her Guardian falling onto his knees. His scaled face showing nothing but agony. By the time his face returned to her eye level, tears was in his eyes.

Again it happened again! I was helpless to stop it AGAIN!

His warrior reverted back to Tesh and consoled him, realizing the truth when his claw finally let go of his neck and the lone thought that settled on his mind like a hurricane. His flute was gone and in turn...

...So was Bleu Rider.
Short for a reason... I'll leave it at that.
